This database contains automatically extracted informations of kinetic data (K_M, K_i, k_cat, k_cat/K_M, V_max, IC₅₀, S_0.5, K_d, K_a, t_1/2, pI, n_H, specific activity, V_max/K_M together with the enzyme name, EC number, ligand, organism, location, pH and temperature) from PubMed. 16,953,021 abstracts have been screened using textmining.

The programms for creating this database have been developed at the University of Cologne by Stephanie Heinen in the Bioinformatics working-group (Prof. Dr. D. Schomburg).
